Meander Collection in Progress

Working on my first completely abstract collection.

I generally keep small wooden panels on hand so at the end of the day, I can use whatever paint is on my pallette instead of letting it dry up. I love these little panels because there is just no pressure and I can be as expressive and free as I'd like. I'm calling this collection 'Meander' because that is what this manner of painting is allowing me to do - stumble and explore, meander and wander. What started as scraps and loose ends is swiftly becoming one of my favorite projects. They may be created after the day is over but they are anything but an afterthought. I hope to work on larger abstracts soon but for now I am enjoying these little tinies.
